Shown is real time video making a spectrographic disk mold of aluminum 300 series alloy.

The disk is smaller than the standard 2 1/2 diameter disk it is 16 mm. And 12 mm thick .However, the disk requires NO machining before insertion into the SPECTROGRAH.
